Donald L. Noreen September 5, 1937 --- December 20, 1984 Donald 47, owner and manager of Don's IGA store in Bemidji, died Thursday December 20, 1984. Services will be 2 pm Saturday at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home in Bemidji with the Rev Roger Rotvold and Brian Dean officiating. Burial in Pinewood Dodge Cemetery in rural Bemidji. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm today until Saturday. Born Sept. 5, 1937 in Brainerd, Minnesota, he attended school in Brainerd. Mr Noreen worked for corporate Red Owl stores in Duluth and Minneapolis before moving to Bemidji in May 1973. Surviving are his wife Rosemary, five daughters, Mrs Larry (Lynn) Tolman of Solway, Mrs Mith (Dianne) Knutson of Cass Lake, Mrs Don (Nikki) Josefson of Bemidji and Laurie Schroeder Fort Bragg, Calif. four sons Rick Noreen of Pinewood, Jim Noreen of Cass Lake, Bob and Bill Noreen Schroeder of Bemidji, seven grandchildren, his mother Mable Noreen of Baxter, two brothers, Russ of White Bear Lake and Dick of Bemidji and two sisters, Mrs Randy (Betty) Jesson of Baxter and Mrs Harold (Darlene) Miller of Casselton, ND. He was proceeded in death by his father.
